Every trip needs you.
Drive in the heat. Buy fuel. Sit in traffic. Wait for the next fare. A big car still costs more to maintain.
You still have a car. Could it help with the groceries, the next bill, or getting back on your feet? There may be another way to earn without driving every trip yourself.
Start with one car. You control the decision. No guaranteed earnings.
Lost your job or finding work harder to come by? The bills don’t wait. Groceries, family, insurance and repairs still need paying—even when your car is parked.
If you’ve driven for fares, you know the routine: fuel bills, traffic, long hours behind the wheel and the pressure to find the next passenger. Car sharing gives you another option.

A renter drives during the agreed rental. You can stay home or spend time elsewhere—while remaining responsible for handover, support and the vehicle.
Car sharing isn't effortless or risk-free. Booking requests and owner income are never guaranteed.
You want to know what renting could add to your income. Maybe your goal is J$80,000–100,000 a month—or J$154,000. Those are income goals, not actual YaRide earnings or guarantees.
This is hypothetical arithmetic, not a forecast or completed YaRide booking. Subtract fees, servicing, insurance, cleaning, downtime and other costs to understand possible take-home income.
You care about who drives your car, how they treat it and whether they bring it back on time. Repairs can be expensive, and insurance needs to cover the right kind of use. A tracker or an app cannot make every risk disappear—but you can ask the right questions before handing over the keys.
YaRide requests a licence, a live photo and proof of address. Confirm the physical licence yourself at handover.
Agree terms in writing. Photograph the car before and after. Check mileage, fuel, condition and return arrangements.
Check with an insurer that your specific paid self-drive rental is covered. Do not assume ordinary personal motor cover applies.
YaRide helps people discover your car and send booking requests. You decide what makes sense. Our role is marketplace discovery, not running your rental business for you.

Currently operating in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
If you already rent through WhatsApp groups, friends or word of mouth, keep doing it. YaRide is another way to be discovered—not a replacement for your own business.
People shouldn't need somebody else to turn down a renter before they hear about your car. Your listing can be found directly.
We market to travelers interested in Jamaica—including U.S. audiences—and are building hotel and accommodation referral routes.
When word of mouth dries up, an extra discovery channel may help. It cannot guarantee you'll be booked every week.
We would rather you make an informed decision than get pressured into a booking you don't understand.

No. This is self-drive car sharing rather than ride-hailing. You choose availability and decide whether to accept requests. You still handle safe handovers, checks, maintenance and support during rentals.
YaRide requests driver licence information, a live photo and proof of address. Owners should also check the actual licence at handover, review eligibility, agree clear terms, and document the car. Screening reduces uncertainty but never eliminates risk.
No automatic damage guarantee should be assumed. Ask your insurer to confirm in writing that paid self-drive rentals, the driver and the specific risks are covered before you accept one.
Agree a handover time and return conditions in writing, keep contact details, and have a lawful escalation plan. GPS tracking, where suitable and disclosed, is a precaution rather than a guarantee.
Listing your car is 100% free with owner signup code 605219 or our referral link. Request credits are separate: you may need them to receive rental requests. The referral invitation includes signup credits, but additional request credits and applicable booking commissions may cost money. Check the app for current fees and terms.
Yes. One suitable car is enough. You set its price and available dates, and review the requests you want to accept. Confirm any applicable request-credit and commission charges in the app.
No. YaRide provides another way to reach potential renters; bookings vary with demand, price, car availability and season. Your gross rental receipts are not your take-home profit.
Owners should ask about request-credit costs and current commissions in the app. Tracking, legal and insurance information here is general education only.
Start with a conversation. Tell us about the car you own and what would make renting worthwhile for you.
